Sephoras products are made from sustainable ingredients and contain only natural ingredients.
The company said it is committed to supporting the vegan lifestyle and creating new products for consumers who are interested in a plant-based lifestyle.
“We are excited to bring the beauty of our brand to the growing community of vegans, and are committed to providing products that offer both beauty and health benefits to those who choose to make the transition,” Sephoras product lead director of business development, Lorna Chua, said in a statement.
“As a result, Sephoros products are vegan and certified cruelty-free, and our skin care is made with ingredients sourced from organic, sustainably-sourced ingredients.”
In India, the countrys largest health insurer, SEBI, said it will roll out a new program for the use of animal products in its plans, and will look to integrate it into other programmes.
According to the company, the program will help employees to make better choices about their diet and lifestyles, and promote the use and sustainability of ingredients.
In the first quarter of 2017, SEPCO said it had sold more than 20 million products in India.
The agency said that the company’s total sales from India rose by 19.6% in the last fiscal.
